We are new to Zen Math. When I was looking for one on one alternatives to the local (in-person, group based) Math tutoring service there were a wealth of tutors available online but when I reached out to Zen Math, Danielle impressed me with her experience, methods and qualifications. She is an experienced math teacher. After my initial contact I felt Danielle's Zen Math method, materials and presentations on how to LEARN math makes Zen Math stand apart from in-person services I've used in the past. Danielle's genuine enthusiasm for students success comes across in every interaction. After initial meetings to assess our needs, our son was matched with a highly qualified tutor trained by Danielle in using her methods. I also really like that Danielle is a practicing math teacher here in Ontario, understands my son's context and content, and their response time on questions is great. My son is gaining a much better understanding of his grade 11 math and study skills.
