What do you love most about your job?

I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!

Do you offer any specialised forms of training?

I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.

What variety of training options do you provide for clients?

I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.

What qualifications have you achieved?

I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Having moved to Dublin recently, we are so so happy that we were recommended Emma and the team at Pawfit. Every week Murphy, our oversized bernedoodle puppy, will go out for his walks and meet various friends, coming home absolutely shattered and eagerly awaiting the next time that he’ll see Emma or James. He’s started to sit by the door when his harness is on or try and sneak a peek out of the window to spot the pawfit team arriving. We’ve recently had Emma house sit for us for 4 days and we were genuinely concerned that Murphy wouldn’t want us to come back. He went on all sorts of adventures and was cared for above and beyond what we expected. Overall I find Emma and the team to be professional, responsible, punctual, fun and extremely caring towards all dogs. I can only recommend that you get in contact and find out for yourself! *Copied directly from one of Pawfit’s 27 Google Reviews*

Emma has been working with dogs for over 5 years and to say she’s devoted her life to them would be an understatement. She’s kind, caring, organised and knowledgeable. My dogs absolutely adore her. I would 11/10 recommend her for your dog if you’re considering.
