Registered dietitians are qualified to assess, diagnose and treat dietary problems or nutritional needs. They also tend to help clients with special dietary requirements or medical conditions. To be a dietitian, you’ve got to be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Many dietitians work within the NHS as opposed to privately, although you can still find private dietitians to help advise you on your eating habits. Whereas nutritionists are more likely to be the ones advising on weight loss or sport nutrition. Nutritionists can be registered with the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN), but they don't have to be.
To become qualified as a nutritionist, I had to complete a course run by the UKVRN. After completing the course, I became qualified as a registered nutritionist. This means that all my clients can check my qualifications and experience online. Clients can therefore be confident in my abilities, as they know that I'm qualified under a trustworthy organisation.
Weight loss is the most common reason that new clients come to me. They often find it difficult to know how to get the right nutrients into their diets without feeling hungry or unsatisfied. But over the last few years, I’ve had more and more people coming to me with IBS-related issues. I think that's because more people are recognising the symptoms of IBS and are getting diagnosed. They then come to nutritionists or dietitians for guidance on how to alter their eating habits to help relieve their symptoms.

I’ve been trained by Sabrina for more than a month now. She is an incredible trainer. She designs my programme and workouts according to my unique strength goals, making every session interesting. Sabrina is also encouraging, friendly and always ready to make useful suggestions and modifications. I would highly recommend Triple Three Fitness to anyone who is looking for a good personal trainer!

Been working with Tiff for about 4 months and she’s been actively working on my program to cater to my wants and needs. She checks in daily to prep for future sessions so I go into the session being able to do my best without worrying about injury or pain. She also looks after my nutrition by developing a plan around what my goals were and adapting to my work and home lifestyles to achieve the best and quickest results :)
